Malevolo, the terrible bird dealer of Venice, is prepared to use any trick in the book to make money. His dearest wish is to capture L'Uccelino, the bird that brings the day. But once captured, won't the bird's absence plunge Venice into darkness ?
This would be the case without the intervention of a marvellous contortionist and a virtuoso violinist who prove once again that human beings cannot do without beauty, music and poetry !
It's a musical that takes us on a real journey into the world of classical music, and asks our children (and their parents!) about our responsibility towards nature and humanity.
For all ages 5 and up | For schoolchildren aged 6 to 11 | Duration: 45 min
Malevolo is a poetic, acrobatic musical tale written and performed by Yanowski (Le cirque des mirages) alongside the great violinist Hugues Borsarello, who introduces children aged 5 to 11 to symphonic music. The works performed are extracts from the great repertoire (Vivaldi, Wagner, Beethoven, Ravel, Stravinsky) as well as original songs by Yanowski.
Created and recorded at the Théâtre des 2 Rives in Charenton-le-Pont with the Orchestre Lamoureux and Hugues Borsarello on violin, then performed at Avignon 2024.
