Based on his musical education within prestigious institutions (Fribourg, Hanover, Copenhague, Graz), an award-winner of the Czyffra, Menuhin as well as Marcel Bleustein-Blanchet foundations, nominated at French "Music Victories", since his beginnings Pascal Contet has been dedicating to promoting a burgeoning repertoire mirroring his insatiable curiosity.
Born in France to a long lineage of musicians, Alexandra pursued her musical education in London and Basel in the class of renowned masters such as Walter Levin, Alban Berg Quartet and György Kurtag who will say of her :
“Alexandra has a high level of individual accomplishment and excellent chamber music skills, to which must be added the significant deepening of her artistic voice. She is an excellent violinist and an insightful, complete musician”.
Yoko Kaneko performs on January 13th, 2019 at 4:30 p.m. in Church Notre Dame de Compassion, Paris 17, during a concert supporting young talents organised by Association Les Vocations d'Euterpe. Programme includes works for violin and piano by Schumann, Brahms, Bach, Paganini and Wieniawski.
