In the face of the pandemic currently sweeping the planet, men and women from all walks of life are stepping up their support for those fighting on the front line. As part of this drive, a collective of solidarity artists has been formed, bringing together some of the biggest names on the French classical music scene (Gautier Capuçon, Natalie Dessay, Alexandre Tharaud, Philippe Jaroussky, Yvan Cassar, Bertrand Chamayou, Nemanja Radulovic, Karine Deshayes, Hugues Borsarello, Edgar Moreau, Franck Braley, Lise Berthaud, Laure Favre-Kahn, Laurent Naouri, Delphine Haidan, David Moreau, Dimitri Saroglou, Neima Naouri, Tom Naouri, Rhiannon Mothersele, Thomas Enhco, Mathieu Martin... ), have come together to run a charity event in aid of hospital and nursing staff. Musicians, authors, designers, sound engineers and historians have all volunteered to contribute to this album, Symphonie pour la vie, with all proceeds going to the Fondation Hôpitaux de Paris - Hôpitaux de France. At the beginning of April 2020, the performers met up and took turns in the Riffx studio at the Seine Musicale in Boulogne-Billancourt, specially set up in a novel, ephemeral architectural configuration.

The artists were able to combine their talents from a distance, in strict compliance with health and safety regulations.
